The Stress Free way to Travel

Many of us live in different areas than the rest of our family. Many of us live several states away from Mom and Dad and there are some of us that require flight time as part of our holiday ritual. The World of holidays can be a tough choice though, considering the plethora of exciting locations to visit. For those of us that have to travel to other countries during the holiday season, flying could be tougher than at other times of the year. Here are a few tips for world travel during the holidays.

First of all, keep your smiling face on during your airport experience. In the airport, the employees have all of the answers and they have all of the power. When you are already running late or sense the upcoming delay in your flight, it is easy to lose patience with these scrooges, but keeping your temper in check could be very beneficial. After all, everything that goes wrong in your life is not their fault, it just seems that way at the moment. Keep in mind that being super nice during a not-so-great situation could mean "free upgrade" and being not so nice could result in lost luggage, or even worse, a full body search as you are "randomly" picked out of the line.

If you have the opportunity, fly during off peak hours. It may be a little inconvenient to have to leave out in the middle of the night, but it could mean beating a huge crowd of people in the airport. Plus if you leave your home airport in the middle of the night, after the time differences (or the international date line) you may be arriving at your destination at a great time of day. Better yet, it could be discounted tickets for those "Red-Eye" flights.

Traveling with children could make everything difficult. Keeping them happy is not always the easiest task on your list of things to do on your world travel. Think about how bored and agitated you get while having to wait in lines and in terminals, then how bored you get on the plane, then multiply that by at least 20 Ð that is how your kids feel. Keep them occupied with small, quiet toys, coloring books, handheld video games or DVD players, etc. What ever will keep their attention and save your sanity.

IT Education Cool for Today's Times

Computers are the forbearers of the technological revolution of the 21st century. Not only have they helped mankind speed its tasks, but also simplify them. It has also opened up a lot more career options - that are not only interesting but also high paying. So it was but imperative for universities to open up courses in IT and computer science. Computer training at Collins College can be one good option.

If you decide to acquire degrees in computer science, programming or software, you will have a good chance of succeeding. Trends have shown that this field is constantly expanding. These days, it’s a good idea to get involved with new-age computer hardware, software and the Internet.

Are you considering information technology careers? Millions of new students are going to information technology colleges all over the country every year. This is one of the best bets when it comes to useful degrees. I'm not dismissing other degree programs; however some of them tend to lead graduates to nowhere.

Many people are finding it difficult to find good paying jobs with their Liberal Arts degree. I'm not saying that it's worthless, but opportunities with information technology careers are much more numerous than art-based career openings.

You can easily find the most sought after jobs on the Internet. If you pop open your Google search engine and check it out, you can easily bring up websites like CareerBuilder.com and Monster.com.

Who was Nostradamus?

Born in the early 16th century, Nostradamus has become one of the world's most widely known and read prophets.

His poetic yet cryptic quatrains are claimed by some to conceal information about future events. He completed a total of 942 quatrains which he organized into Centuries - groups of 100 quatrains (one Century only had 42 quatrains).

Do these writings actually predict the death of popes, rise of tyrants, and natural catastrophes to come?

Read his prophecies, hear the arguments, and decide for yourself.

Would you like to see a brilliant interpretation of one of Nostradamus' quatrains. It will "prove" one of two things to you:

1. Nostradamus was even more insightful than imagined OR
2. The quatrains are obscure enough that they can be interpreted to predict any occurrence.

Boxing - A Sport for Spirituality

Boxing is a sport and martial art in which two participants of similar weight fight each other with their fists in a series of one to three-minute intervals called "rounds". In both Olympic and professional divisions, the combatants (called boxers or fighters) avoid their opponent's punches while trying to land punches of their own. Points are awarded for clean, solid blows to the legal area on the front of the opponent's body above the waistline, with hits to the head and torso being especially valuable. It is important that professional boxing equipment is used even while practicing boxing at home as injuries in this sport can be fatal.

Kool facts about boxing:

- Boxing is a 'sweet science'.

- Boxing is a skill contest between two people who attempt to hit each other with their fists, eneased in gloves, whilst trying not to hit by their opponent.

- We have professional boxing and amateur boxing nowadays. There are different rules and scoring system between two types of boxing.

Any Fool Can Fight,But Very Few Can Box.

Yoga for Cleansing the Soul

People practice yoga for a variety of reasons. Many yoga practitioners are interested in the health benefits that come from regularly performing the routines. Others want a state of harmony between inner and outer self. Still others practice yoga primarily to relax. When practicing physical yoga, it is recommended that you use good quality yoga mats for optimum benefit from it
A State of Harmony
The profound relaxation available through yoga includes a state of clarity of mind, and of harmony with and understanding of the world. If such a state of relaxation is your goal, you will need to use most of the yoga techniques available. Pay special attention to breathing, diet, correctly performing the exercises, and meditating.

But what really is yoga?

According to wikipedia, Yoga is one of the six schools of Hindu philosophy, focusing on meditation as a path to self-knowledge and liberation. Hindu texts establishing the basis for yoga include the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika and many others. Yoga is seen as a means to both physiological and spiritual mastery.

It is a direct experience of the vast interrelatedness of all life and of all things. You will feel at peace at the end of a yoga class because there is a natural realignment of your body which leads to a natural realignment of your perception of life and of who you are.

You will need to develop discipline and there is hard work involved especially when you first begin.
