Squidoo Lenses - The Web 2.0 World

Squidoo is a new Internet venue that is gaining in popularity. Squidoo is an online network that offers to its users what it calls “lenses.” At Squidoo, a so-called lens is a single page that highlights a user’s particular expertise, recommendations -- truly, nearly anything can be placed and included on a Squidoo lens. Although less than two years in operation, the Squidoo community of participants is growing by leaps and bounds.

If you are interested in creating or boosting online traffic, Squidoo is becoming a marvelous vehicle. Through Squidoo, you can establish a lens (a page) that can provide teaser information and materials that will point someone directly to your own website venue. As Squidoo becomes something of a major online clearinghouse, you can take advantage of this growing resource to enhance the number of people that come to your own website.
